John 3:35& The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 5:20-23,& For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth: and he will show him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

37-40 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

John 6:44-46 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

Phil 2:10& That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

1 John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also

1 John 5:12&He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Rev 1:5& And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

It seems like everybody, with some exceptions, wants to say that they believe in God today. In fact in some ways the term God has come to mean little or nothing, because it includes all religions, no matter how different they may be. Surely they can’t be the same God because they are against each other or they are all against the One that says it is the Only One. They all have one thing in common, they all ignore the Lord Jesus Christ or they speak against Him. This is in all the worlds religions and most of the Christian churches, which preach salvation by works or by some self effort of reform. The Catholics raise up Mary above the Son, The Islamics worship Allah and say that Jesus was just a prophet of Mohammed who failed in his mission, both Jews and Islamics accept Moses as a great prophet, but both hate Jesus. Pentecostals raise up the Holy Ghost over Jesus, while all Arminians raise up man over the Lord Jesus Christ. Only those who are enabled by the Sovereign Lord are able to esteem Jesus in His proper place. He is King of kings and Lord of lords and God manifest in human flesh. There is salvation in no other way than in the finished work of Christ, not by a million Hail Marys and Our Fathers, or a million trips in a life time to Mecca or the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, or burning incenses for eternity to the Hindu gods, or being baptized a hundred times and speaking in a million unknown tongues. If He did not bear your name on His breast when He hung on calvary’s tree and carried it to the throne of God when He rose from the grave on the third day then there is no other way that you can be saved. Let us be mindful and ready to tell anyone who ask us that it is impossible to bypass the Son and come to the Father some other way, whether it be by works which we hope will commend us to God or whether by blatant rejection of the God of the Bible and creation of a false idol that we see fit to worship. Mat 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Beloved Jesus paid it all, let us rest in that Truth and take shelter under its wings.
